Here is one more interesting response which I received from a guy whose
anonymity I will observe.

The point I have been trying to make is that ALL RELIGIOUS NONSENSE ABOUT
CIRCUMCISION HAS BEEN FABRICATED PRECISELY IN ORDER TO CONCEAL THE TRUE
FUNCTION OF CIRCUMCISION, WHICH IS IN TURN TO CONCEAL THE EXISTENCE OF
MALE VIRGINITY.

It should not be so hard to understand; it is similar to the pork issue
which is still in existence in some parts of the world: The holy books
do not say "do not eat pork because we have not yet figured out how to
prepare it and you will get streptococcosis and you will die," they say
"do not eat pork because you will burn in hell." Nevertheless, the rule
most certainly originated from some wise man who observed that people who
ate pork suffered a rather unpleasant death. Since there was no science
in his times to back him up, he passed his observation to the generations
after him by making it a religious rule. This has worked out just fine
for centuries if not millenia, but you see the problem: now that we
eventually know how to prepare pork, those religious people still will
not eat it, because their holy books tell them not to.

In a similar fashion, the holy books do not say "thy shall circumcise thy
young boys so that virginity will only be known for girls," they say
"thy shall circumcise thy young boys... <for whatever stupid reasons.>"
The effect, however, is the same: today's western world thinks of
virginity as an exclusively female quality.

WELL, IT IS NOT!

Sincerely Yours,
Michael Nakis.
