I am extremeley interested in (and writing a paper on) the
professionalization of traditional medical systems, especially as a
result of contact with the Western biomedical system. I have some work
by Foller on the Shipibo-Conibo (Eastern Peruvian Amazon) and by Cavender
concerning groups in Zibabwe. If anyone has any related information,
