You've made a great start in becoming a Great Anthropologist:
recognizing heresy and condemning it.
When the establishment was pro-Nordic, Scientific Anthropolgy proved
Nordics were superior. In the 1930's, Franz Boas' theories that race
didn't matter were a bit of a joke in your field.
Everything changed in six years, 1939-1945. About 1945, Boas
became the Founding Father of True Scientific Anthropology. You
probably didn't notice, but that happened to be the very moment Boaz'
theories became official political doctrine. Scientific Anthropologists
have always been lucky that way.
You just learn to say this to the moneybags when you find out what
they want: "Oh, you are so right, and I've proved it. You are so so
Idealistic and so Scientific..." There's more, but there are plenty of
Politically Correct people here to teach yo the whole drill.
