Kinship in Ancient Egypt?

In response to my post (elsewhere) regarding the prescriptions for sibling or
dynastic incest in the royal families of Egypt, Hawaii, and Peru, a chap who
idealizes and is obsessed with the the culture and religion of the Tamerans
(ancient Egyptians) informs me that half of the marriages in ancient "Tamera"
were between siblings. It strikes me as highly unlikely that any were,
outside the royal family, but I do not remember ever having seen a reference
to Egyptian kinship. Anyone have information on it?
