Some possible misperceptions in my previous points have come to my
attention, so I'll try and clear them up.
I hope I haven't implied that economic and political power were the
same. I've tried to introduce economic and social organization only at
points where I feel they influence political organization. One of my
biggest points has been that political power is merely corporate
decision making power. This does not imply control or power over any
individual. I've also tried to point out that while male solidarity
often develops around political activities, this does not mean that
women are not involved. (No more than the concept that men are not
involved in domestic activities by virtue of female solidarity). The
idea of solidarity, to me, carries a sense that this is an area where a
particular group shares a common interest. This may lead to a strong
influence in that area, but it does not mean absolute control of that
area.
