12 is also the number of knots or marks you would need on a loop of rope
to lay out a 3,4,5 right-angled triangle. Being divisible, it is easy to
mark up the rope. Make a loop. Fold into three. Fold again into two.
Dip each end of the bundle into a pot of paint. D.U.N. Done!
