Obviously this is a creationist question because it shows no
knowledge of evolutionary theory. Humans did NOT evolve from
apes. Humans and apes are both fully modern, evolved species from
a common ancestor. We are the ends (so far) of our respective
branches on the common family tree. What you question asks is
"Why are there no living extinct creatures?"
