Ah, but you do not know all the subtelties of rabbinic interpretation. First,
the "first" day is not "first", but "one day". Second, before there was the
Sun, there was the "primal light", and that's what measured the time of the
days of creation. (That's the light that was separated from the darkness on
the first day.) Dallas
