Perhaps the Indigenous peoples of the world (which are, of course,
everyone) should determine what they are called. Go to a Pow Wow and
listen to what people are saying. Listen to the MC - he will refer to
Indian People, Native People and American Indian People. Perhaps they
do occasionally refer to Native Americans, but I haven't heard it.
