Administrative note: the ways of ISPs are mysterious indeed.
Often your messages show up almost 3 or 4 days after you have
sent them.
That's because the Internet newsgroups are implemented as a "store
and forward" mechanism; messages are distributed through a relay
system that often takes several days.
That's also why messages arrive out of order--more often than not
I will receive Gale's replies to your posts before your posts show
up at my machine.
