David, this used to be an interesting newsgroup which did deal with
anthropological concerns. Unfortunately, the title "anything to do
with humankind" has left it open to counter-productive cross-postings
and people sending things which have nothing to do with sci.anthro.
(see 13-months, pyrimidocracy, world's stupidest women threads). just
to prove to themselves that they have the right of free speech. Alas,
just my non-scientific ramblings...
