Whoops, hit delete by mistake, but the poster I was replying to said there
was an ISO standard saying the week starts on Monday.

So, as far as I can see, those who want it to start on Sunday have at least
religious justification plus historical (btw when did it start in Napoleonic
France?), those of us who claim it starts on Monday have the ISO standard
behind them, some (most?) European calendars, etc. There's obviously no
technically correct answer (except perhaps the ISO standard, which I won't
claim to prove anything except that anyone who says the week starts on Monday
is 'right', or rather not wrong). So if you feel happy with Sunday, fine,
or with Monday, also fine.
