The Bible actually never refutes evolution. In fact, if creation is
true, then it wouldn't have to. The facts support evolution because the
Big Guy Upstairs was so ingenius at creating the world in seven days that
it appears to be millions of years old. So this little battle between
science and folktales is irrelavent.
