hair color change in adult life?

Hi, my hair has noticeably become a shade lighter recently. I normally have
very dark brown hair, almost black. I have not changed diet, have been
using neutrogena shampoo & a mild conditiner, and don't think I've been in the
sun or the pool more often than usual. Is it possible for people to have
genes to change hair color in adult life? I'm age 24, and also have several
grey hairs. My mother is Asian and my father is Caucasian with brown hair
(although they're both grey now :)).
