This month's Consumer Reports (May 1995) has an article on Condoms. They
tested many brands and included size data for all these brands. Length
varied from 186-206 mm (with outliers at 180, 184, & 214 mm). Width
varied from 50-54 nn (with an outlier at 56 mm). The largest was
Trojan-Enz "Large" at 214x56 mm (and excellent air burst rating!) They
also discussed skin and the new Polyurethane condoms. Skins were
typically 68-78 mm while the polyurethane were 60 mm. What does it all
mean? Maybe that, in America, the variety of condom sizes is quite wide
and certainly overshadows any possible racial differences.
Anyway Gupta's body size argument is so solid that it doesn't need any
support from me.
