I think it's fine if people want to use pot to get high once in a while.
Granted, some people do use it to excess, but all use even to party with
it does not equal 'abuse'. Quite a value judgement here, even sticking
with just American values.

I suggest substituting the terms 'ritual' or 'religious' use vs.
recreational use. More objective since it describes behavior and
motivation without passing judgement.
