Don't expect anyone academically involved in Anthropology or
palaeoantrhopology to give you a straight answer about such things. Just
as there are "true believers" who are already comitted to their peculiar
truth, so there are "true disbelievers" who must compare their attitudes
with those of the dogmatic establishment and its current teachings.
"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of
in your philosophies......" The more we learn in science, the greater the
mystery regarding that which we do not know. The more we learn, the more
aware we are that we know even less than we thought we did.
