I cannot quit without sending thanks and good wishes to
everybody (pro and con) who made sci. anthrop. paleo
such an exhilarating place to drop in on over the last year
or so. Some weeks ago my p.c. malfunctioned . It is working
again now but I have started writing a new book (deadline
January) and I don't feel able to catch up with and reply to all the
torrent of info and arguments that I missed.
So with regret I am checking out, at least until the book is
finished.

I had a great time and I learned a lot on this newsgroup.
