The very question is nonsense, amounting to "are humans descended from
chimpanzees?". Humans and chimpanzees are descended from a common
ancestor, neither a human nor a chimpanzee. Am I descended from
my sister? No, but we are both descended from common ancestors,
who were neither her, mor me.
