`So, I caught part of an item on the radio this morning that someone
`(I missed the name) using electron spin resonance dating had dated
`rhino bones and teeth found in association with modern h. sapiens
`remains (somewhere in the balkans) to 130kya . The researcher
`commented that this would have been a much more remarkable
`find if not for the dating of some other remains in the last
`five years which pushed back the existence of modern h.s.
`in europe from 40kya to 90kya.

Following up to myself: I've received a few email enquiries about
this item, and unfortunately what I've written here is pretty
much the extent of what I heard. I was sort of hoping that
someone here might know more about this announcement, and fill
in the details. I heard it on the cbc am national morning show,
Morningside, so anyone who happened to catch the beginning of
the item on that show, or otherwise have more knowledge about
this, could you post it here?
