For whatever it is worth, the lateral lobes of the cerebellum of the
robust australopithecines, as seen particularly in OH5 and more so in
SK1585 appear quite modern in form. While the slight increase in robust
Australo brain size might not have been a factor in being able to make
stone tools, it seems reasonabble to me that the advanced cerebellar
morphology is not incongruent with such a proposition. R. Holloway.
