I am not an expert, but I believe that shellfish ahve a fairly high fat
content. Fat is essential for proper brain development in human infants.
They would get the fat through their mother's milk. Where would the mother
get the fat from? Shellfish sounds like a reasonable possibility. They
are abundant and fairly easy to gather.
