I was really saddened to hear of Mary Leakey's death too. It almost
signals the closing of a chapter in human evolution studies going way way
back... I know her son Richard, daughter-in-law Maeve Leakey are still
practicing paleoanthropologists... But the Leakeys... that always meant
Louis and Mary for me.
