I see no logical or scientific reason why these traits
require connected explanation, particularly in that
the fossil evidence as yet contains no marine-facies
hominoid fossils.

Until someone finds such a fossil, or an island-village
site, or some other _evidence_, I continue to regard
the AAH as a "just-so story".

Your mileage apparently varies.
