I am considering submitting an abstract concerning the relationship
between an indigenous "informal" sector export marketing
channel for onions grown in the Niger republic and the channel
for importing onions in Abidjan, C.de.I. The case involves numerous
inter-ethnic and intercultural issues, as well as the global-
local articulations issues that is the theme of the conference.
anyone else interested in this sort of issue, i.e., culture,
marketing, global-local articulations? thanks, eric arnould
