Dear Stephen Johson,
I am from Melville, LA (about 35 miles north of Opelousas, in St. Landry
Parish). Presently, I am studying anthropology at the University of New
Mexico.
You might want to contact Dr. Malcom Shuman of Louisiana State
University. I know he has down research on the prehistoric Indians of
Louisiana. He might be able to help you.
When you find out this info, can you please pass it on to me because I am
interested in learning more about Louisiana Archaeology.
