What law, Robert Johnson, are you referencing? I'm baffled.
There are differences in the legal codes of nations, e.g.
libel in Canada hasn't the same proof requirements as in the
United States, but I haven't a clue to what you are referring.
Apparently not that of "simple courtesy."
