Fellow anthropoids,
Thanks for the lead on content analysis. For everybody who pointed me
to "H. Russ Bernard" -- I've got THE MAN on campus, so I can stop by his
office (or read his book) any time. That is, once he gets back next year.
(Well, I could read his book before he gets back, but I think I'll wait
until he teaches his research methods class again.)
Plus, he is (was) on my committee. I'll probably be dropping him
soon, 'cause he ain't gonna be here for my comps, on the advice of my
chair. Ironically, I'll probably be adding another "content-analysis
maven", Dr. Markel, to replace him...
Oh, just so y'all know. TIME MAGAZINE INTERVIEWED ME ABOUT MY PAPER
IN DECEMBER. THE ENDORPHINS WERE PUMPING! Sorry. Have to schmooz this up. I
may have to kill my ex-wife and her boyfriend in order to get into the
magazine a second time...
