Mea culpa

I am informed that the story about the Yanomamo woman was Ron Kephardt's
experience and not Bob Snower's. That'll teach me to answer mail when I'm
cross-eyed at two in the morning. Still, as W.I.Thomas once observed, what
men believe to be true is true in its consequences. The effects of my
belief on my feelings were, to the best of my ability, faithfully reported;
given, that is, a level of consciousness marginally better than that of a
small, greased pig with only the vaguest memories of having been an ice
cube. Mea Maxima Culpa.
