Levy-Bruhl and Lienhardt

I am a philosophy master student doing some work in anthropology in order to
get to know the discipline.
I am now doing some critical work on Levy-Bruhl's theories of mentality
(mystical mentality, the law of participation, collective representations)
and on Lienhardt's field study of Dinka religion. (These are two separate
projects.) The two volumes I am working with are "How Natives Think" and
"Divinity and Experience."
Since the field is still rather new to me I am interested in suggestions on
where I could find criticisms offered toward either of these two. These
could be theoretical, biographical (dealing with their particular time of
the author and state of the discipline) or methodological/interpretive
(especially in the case of Leinhardt's fieldwork).
Many things,
Anthony Todd Estes
