Regarding Malinowski, I really think it is only fair to mention Annette
Weiner's rewrite of his work on the Trobriands in her book Women of Valor,
Men of Renown,
which won a prize. As for Radcliffe-Brown, he dealt miserably with Daisy
Bates, an English anthropologist who spent many years among the
