adaptability of personality in foreign cultures

Is anyone familiar with any measurements of the adaptability of individual
personality to specific cultures, i.e., how well someone might fit in or
take to living in specific foreign cultures? I've heard of some
psychological measures of this kind, including a test using color choices,
but I've had no experience with or first hand information about any.
