bibliographic data bases for the Mac?

I assume the bibliographic packages mentioned so far are primarily for PCs.
Does anyone have any good recommendations for Mac users? We have started
using Endnote, which seems okay, although not as well-suited to my own
habits as I might like. (I once designed one for myself on an old Osborne
"portable" and, oddly enough, none of the off the shelf things are equally
tailored to my needs.)
In addition to variety of formats, ease of entry, searching, marking and
printing, I'm interested in how well (and fast) they can download from
library databases. I have heard ProCite is good at this, but when I
checked it cost 4 times as much as Endnote.
Thanks,
Diane
