ONE-YEAR VISITING APPOINTMENT IN ANTHROPOLOGY
Pomona College. The Department of Anthropology invites applications for a
1-year full-time visiting position in sociocultural Anthropology at the
Assistant Professor level beginning in fall 1996. Preference for candidates
with completed Ph.D. specializing in applied anthropology and medical
anthropology with a regional focus on Latin America. Teaching includes 5
courses per year, on a semester system, with one or two courses of introductory
sociocultural anthropology. Preliminary interviews at AAA meetings and final
interviews at 1996 SfAA meeting in Baltimore. We seek candidates committed to
teaching an ethnically diverse student population in a liberal arts setting.
