The second rule you're supposed to remember when you drop acid (between
"Cars are big" and "I can't fly") is "Fire is hot," and this list is a
fine example of why that rule was made. I get a serious case of faceburn
every time I check my mail! I could comment at length on the pointless
vitriol being dispensed by several discussants, and attempt to dissect
their myopic, fanatical, and in the end teleological intellectual presti-
digitations, but I will but share with you a bit of wisdom given to me by
a friend of mine this morning regarding the whole question of race, IQ,
morality, and human behavior:

"Human beings suck as a general rule."

It ain't complicated, but it explains a lot.
