I do not think that Lieber has any reason to castigate himself. Maybe Rushton
is not genuinely interested in intellectual debate, but his success in
promoting his ideas means that others will repeat them -- students in classes,
fellow guests at parties, etc. -- and the arguments that have been advanced on
this list can be very helpful when we are called upon to explain, clearly and
in few "soundbytes" what the fallacies are in his arguments. I know I saved
a few posts for that purpose. Eve Pinsker
