I was also bothered by the issue. As a biological anthropologist, I was
irritated by the absence of anything in my area, but assumed that was random
chance QQ I shouldn't expect every individual issue to show balance. If,
however, that was a policy decision, I am ready to cancel my membership in AAA.

I was more immediately disturbed by the absence of abstracts for the published
articles. My interests do overlap with cultural and archaeology fields, but I
don't pretend to read every article. The abstracts are very important for me to
browse outside my subdiscipline and to decide when to read in more detail.
Eliminating them raises the barriers to interdisciplinary communication a little
higher. I protest.
