Ummm, I'm just wondering if we're incorporating Weber's philosophy in which
the trope "iron cage" was embedded, in the Levi-Stauss application of the
term, or is just the concept being borrowed? I
am not very well read on Levi-Strauss (tristes Tropique and some of the
stuffin The Structural Study of Myht and Totemism) so did he use the
phrase to signify something in particular?
