nafta in the long run should change their ability to organize and bargain
in mexico, if it follows the european economic community model for
development over time. the idea with all these things is supposed to be
a gradual system of changes that forges one economic market where several
existed before. i suspect over time that more and more n.am. states
will join nafta, just as more joined the eec. hopefully in ten years
nafta will have changed working conditions and labour markets in all 3
nafta countries.
