ive used , with both my teachers and my students, words like s/he and
hir. they are artificial and unweildy yet tehy work rather well, and i
have gotten used to them. Ive had more problems with profressors than
students, but thats an issue of calcification and belief systems, not
gender.....
i particularly like "hir", but im not sure how to pronounce it.. what do
you think, is it pronouniced like "her" or "here" or something in between?
peace
