Inclusive Language

I'm looking for editorial policies concerning the use of gender inclusive
language. I know that TDR offers such a statement on its inside back cover,
and have a copy of it. I'm wondering if anyone can help me find statements
of other such policies -- in journals, by publishing houses, or issued by
universities concerning student papers.

Context: I'm having a promotion "discussion" with my colleagues concerning a
requirement I place on my students to use gender inclusive language in their
papers. I am hoping to find ample documentation and evidence that such a
policy conforms to both standard publishing practices and other university
practices around the country. (But I need the materials by Tuesday, 5 PM
eastern at the very latest!)

Hope *many* people can help (I'd love to just fill the room with paper!), and
I thank you in advance,
