...i graded an exam for a South American archaeology class in which
the class was asked to discuss "camelids" (llamas, alpacas, etc.);
one student submitted: "The Inca used llamas in warfare to intimidate
their enemies" [!!!] ...gee, i can see it now:

"Submit, or we shall send forth the llamas..."
"We submit! We submit!"
