1993 The Virtual Community: Homesteading on the Electronic Frontier.
Reading, MA: Addison-Wesley.

I further Anita's recommendation of this book for anyone interested
in gaining a better understanding of the NET's resources and "Net Culture."
Bear in mind that it costs $23.50 (?) in Hard Cover format only. It is
both entertaining and informative in its own right. It covers more of the
WELL out of CA then the actual "INTERNET", but the parallels to VCs, and the
section on MUDs (Multi-user domains) warrant good bedtime (or bathroom time?)
reading for all of those interested in the culture right under our noses...
