Subject: Archaeometry Symposium
Sunday, May 19th (THIS Sunday!) marks the beginning of the International
Symposium on Archaeometry at the University of Illinois/Champaign-Urbana.
The SAS will have it's annual business meeting at the Symposium Wednesday
evening May 22nd. The SAS has also been invited by the symposium
organizers to host a Professional Development seminar mid-day Friday
May24th. Mike Tite, Gar Harbottle, Doug Price, and Mark Pollard will lead
discussion on issues of funding, training, and placement in archaeometry.
