ago anyhow) reading Karl Popper, so there's no item on your list of
virtues that really seems objectionable.
However, to say that Science Tests Theories is only half the game. We
have to come up with thoeries, they half to be interesting theories, and
they have to deal with things that matter in our science. Those are all
very subjective matters.
Given a choice between a field characterized by brilliant ideas
or one with pedestrian but rigorously tested ideas, which would you prefer?
