pairs in cultural anthropology. Well, there are a lot of pairs in archaeology
as well. My husband and I have done virtually all our fieldwork as a team, and
we seem to have accomplished quite a bit. This has changed however since our
child was born four years ago. Doing fieldwork and minding a toddler at the
same time, especially an active child, has become somewhat difficult for me.
Jack's last bit of fieldwork (the Serranillas Project in the middle of the
Caribbean) was not possible for me as a result.
