Living in NYC, I haven't seen any of these decals, being too preoccupied
with getting across the streets safely, no doubt. As for my reaction, it
is typically paranoid, meaning that I take them as an insult to Darwin
and those who believe in evolution. I have been wrong many times in the
past and would be delighted to be so again in this case. I guess I just
perceive the Christian Right and domestic events in the US over the last
several years with a great deal of alarm, as for example, in the recent
post regarding the House Budget attempt to wipe out any funding for the
Social Sciences through NSF...Ralph Holloway.
