A friend of mine is looking for an appropriate anthropology department
to do his Ph.D. His field of interest includes cognitive anthropology,
semiotics, psychology of learning and epistemology. He plans to do his
thesis on alimentary beliefs, i.e. what we might call "ethnodietetic" (in
relation to immigration, if I recall rightly). If you could suggest a
place where that field of interest particularly fits in, I would greatly
