Pre-Columbian artifacts

I recently had the opportunity of aquiring a few (24) pre-columbian
artifacts. I know for a fact that they came from Equador, South America
and probably from the Kito area. I was told that they are from a tribe
called Jama Cueve and date back to 2500 BC. I would very much like to
find out if this is an accurate time assessment and an approximate
value. I live outside of New Orleans, Louisiana. Can anyone suggest
either books that might help me or someone who would be experienced in
this area? Please feel free to e-mail directly at
jagroth@nola.srrc.usda.gov.

Thanks for any responses!
