There is a new book out that is supposed to be quite good, called I
believe "Scenes By tHe Side of the Road" by I think...Kathleen Stewert.
Also, Aaron Fox has done excellent work on Texas rural country music
culture, however, I don't think it's in book form yet. Aaron you out
there? Any stuff accessible?
